Starvation
Uma certainly understands 'starvation'. Because, she has been starving for years, until she came to me. Since then, she is in abundance { Am I right ? Opposite of starvation is abundance ? }
But that's not the point here. I am starving ! True, I am starving since many months. It's since February !! I am yet to find a new saviour. Anyone around ?

Remembering Onam with Uma
Uma must be very happy now. But I am sure she must be iterating the memories of ONAM she had with me. Afterall, it's not a very far history. A couple of years is really just next. So, everything must be quite warm ... even now !
Let me wish her a Great Grand Happy ONAM !!

Moods and my moods
Uma used to give me a lot of new ideas, especially on ads related to relationships. That's all on those days when she was with me. Now.... there's none of that smart sensible kind with me. So, I don't have a lady partner to discuss such things in its true spirits.
Last day I was travelling in a train (in second class chair car). The seats are so crammed, it's difficult to relax. Nor I could take a nap. With frequent tea (horrible tasting !) I could not keep myself cooled. Infact my mind was not resting and was in a storm.
Suddenly, my attention went to my neighbors, a boy of 5/6 and his grand father. The g/f was asking him loud to keep quiet. I was curious... why at all so. I didn't see the boy troubling his g/f in any way. The smart boy was sitting on his seat and reading the advertisements stuck / painted on the walls and on the seat rear.
The boy pointed his finger to the ad (sticker) he was facing on the rear of his front seat. The ad read as :
"The only time she will love friction in a relationship".
The boy asked his g/f : "Appooppa, what's the meaning of this ? ".
The g/f read it, looked the whole thing ... and raised his eyebrows. A smile just flashed on his face. Suddenly he told his boy :
"I am sleeping... don't disturb.... Take your kalikkudukka (a childrens magazine) and read..." The g/f was avoiding the situation.
"But... Appooppa, ... please tell me the meaning and then sleep.." The boy was so curious to know what it is about. He continued , pointing to another ad of the same kind on another seat back. That read as :
"The only time she won't complain when you're late".
The boy was restless and shook his g/f's shoulder. "Appooppa, you did not answer me both these... what's the meaning".
I could see the g/f again reading both ads through his half closed eyes... and winking a smile... and continued his nap to silence the boy. But the boy continued to read the titles and other ads.
Suddenly , the boy then asked his g/f loudly "What is moods appooppa ?"
Appooppan did not open his eyes, but closed his lips tight. The boy, leaving his g/f, gazed at other pastures in and out of the coach.
I thought about this for a while. Had I been in this g/f's position, what will I answer to the boy. Well.... I can answer... but it's too difficult to convince him. Had Uma been with me, I would have posed the problem to her. I am sure, she would have given me a very simple answer to tell the boy.
Oh... I didn't tell you what the ads are. MOODS ... the condom. Later I noticed that all 106 seat backs in the coach had the ad. Only the phrases differed.
