Onnara or Panties ഒന്നരയോ പാന്റീസോ ?

Uma suggested me to quote the following text, extracted from a letter.
ഒരു പത്തിരുപതു പിന്നെ മുന്പ് ഈ റെഡി ശാദി പാന്റീസ് ഇല്ലാതിരുന്ന കാലത്ത്, പെണ്പ്പില്ല്ലെര് ഒരു പ്രായം ആയിക്കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ - അതുവരെയും തുണി കൊണ്ടു നമ്മുടെ അയലത്തെ ചേച്ചി മാര്‍ വെട്ടി തയിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്ന ഹട്ടി ഇടും - അവര്‍ സ്കൂള്‍ ലൈഫ് കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ ഷഢി ഇടുന്നത് ഒഴിവാക്കും. പിന്നാ അമ്മമാര്‍ ഒന്നര ഉടുപ്പിച്ചു ട്രെയിനിംഗ് കൊടുക്കും - ഒന്നു രണ്ടു തോര്‍ത്തുകള്‍ (ചുടടീ തോര്‍ത്ത്‌) ഇതിനായി കൊടുതെക്കും. ഷട്ടി ഇടാതതിനാല് കവക്കിടയില റോമ ക്കടും പെര്മാനെന്റ്റ് ആയി ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും, കൂടാതെ വീട്ടില്‍ വച്ചു പ്രയാസമായതിനാല്‍ ഒക്കെ ആയതിനാല്‍ പൂട വടി ഇല്ലെന്നു തന്നെ പറയാം. അന്നൊക്കെ സ്വയമ് പ്രായമായ പെണ്ണുങ്ങള്‍ - കല്യാണം കഴികുന്നതിനു മുന്പേ തന്നെ ഷഢി ഇടില്‍ നിര്ത്തി കലയും- ആദ്യ മൊക്കെ എനിക്ക് അതിസയമയിരുന്നു - വലിയ പെന്നിങ്ങള്‍ ഷട്ടി ഇട്ടു കുളിക്കടവില്‍ കുളിക്കുകയും വെളത്തില്‍ ഇറങ്ങി നിന്നു മ്കൊണ്ട് വലിച്ചുരി സോപിട്ടു നനക്കുകയും ഒക്കെ ചെയ്യന്നത്- അന്ന് തോന്നിയിട്ടുട്നു ഇവക്കു നാണമില്ലേ ഈ പ്രായത്തില്‍ ഷട്ടി ഇടുവാന്‍ എന്ന്. മിക്കവാറും നോര്‍ഗ്ത് ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ജോലി യുള്ള ചെരുക്കന്മാരുടെ കൂടെ കല്യാണം കഴിചു അയച്ചതിന് ശേഷമാണ് ഇവരൊക്കെ വീണ്ടും ഷട്ടി ഇലേക്ക് ചേക്കേറിയത് തന്നെ. അന്നൊക്കെ വളരെ വിരലംയിടു മാത്രമെ ഒരു ഷട്ടി ആരുടെ യെങ്ങിലുമൊക്കെ അയയില്‍ കാണുവാന്‍ സാധിക്കുംയിരുന്നുല്‍ ഉ. അതും ഒതുക്കി മറ്റു തുണികളുടെ അടിയില്‍ ഇട്ടു ഉണ്ങഗുന്നതും കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടേ. അതുപോലെ രാത്രയില്‍ സപ്പടും കഴിഞ്ഞു മിക്കവാറും അടുത്തുള്ള മരത്തിനെറെ മൂട്ടിലേക്ക് മാറി ഒന്നര പിറകില്‍ നിന്നും അഴിചു പൊക്കി യിരുന്നു കൊണ്ടു പെടുക്കുകയും ആ ഒന്നര തുണികൊണ്ട് തന്നെ അവിടം തുടച്ചു കൊണ്ടു ഉറക്കറയിലേക്ക് ചെല്ലും - പാവം അവരുടെ ഭര്‍ത്താക്കന്മാര്‍? ജീവിത കാലം മുഴുവനും ഈ മൂത്ര മണവും പൂക്കാറും സഹിച്ചും കണ്ടും കഴിഞ്ഞു കൂടനയിരുന്നു അവരുടെ വിധി.

ഇപ്പോഴ് നമ്മുടെ കേരളത്തിലെ പെണ്ണുങ്ങള്‍ മക്കളൊക്കെ ഒരു പ്രായമായോ ക്കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ - ഒന്നര യൂ പോയിട്ട് അടിയില്‍ ഒന്നും ഇല്ലാതെ എവിടെ വേനമെങ്ങിലും നടക്കും. ഒന്നു രെണ്ട്‌ പാന്റീസ് ഉണ്ടാങ്ങില്‍ അത് പിള്ളാരും മറ്റു ആരും കാണാതെ ഇട്ടുകുണ്ട് പുകും വല്ല അമ്പലത്തിലും അതുപോലെ കല്യ്നതിണോ ഒക്കെ പോകുമ്പോള്‍ മാത്രം. തിരികെ എത്തിയാല്‍ ഉടന അത് നനച്ചു ഉണക്കി കട്ടില്‍ - മേത്ത ക്ക് അടിയിലും, ഒക്കെ ച്ചുരിട്ടി കൂട്ടി വക്കും.

ഷട്ടി ഇടാതെ നമ്മുടെ വലിയ തടിച്ചി പെണ്ണുങ്ങള്‍ ഒരു പാന്റീസ് ഇട്ടുകൊപ്ണ്ട് നിക്കുന്നത് വളരെ നയന മനോഹരമായ കാഴ്ച യക്ന്നു. ഇപ്പോള്‍ വഴി വാക്കിലെ വിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഓത്തു നിന്നു നമ്മുടെ പ്രായം ചെന്ന / തടി മുട്ടിയ ആന്റി മാര്‍ ഷട്ടി എടുത്തു സൈസ് നോക്കുന്നതും വില പറയുന്നതും ഒക്കെ കാണാം . ഇങ്ങനെ പാണ്ടി യുഗത്തില്‍ മോഡേണ്‍ ആയപ്പോള്‍ പൂഅക്കാട്‌ കളയാനുള്ള ഇറെമ്സും ഒരു സഹായമായി . ഷട്ടി ഇവരൊക്കെ കുറച്ചു കൂടി സ്സ്‌ിആയി നമ്മുടെ ഉണ്ക്ലെ മാര്‍ക്ക് ശേഷവും നല്ല അവരുടെ സ്സ്‌‌ാല്‍ ലൈഫ് മുന്നോട്ടു കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാന്‍ സഹായിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

ഞാന്‍ കോയമ്പത്തൂരില്‍ ജനിച്ചു; പക്ഷെ മലയാളി കുടുംബമാണ്. ഒന്നരയോ പന്റിഎസോ എന്ന ഡിസ്കഷന്‍ കണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ എന്റെ അനുഭവം ഷെയര്‍ ചെയ്യണമെന്നു തോന്നി.൩ വര്ഷം മുമ്പായിരുന്നു എന്റെ കല്യാണം;സെലതു എക്സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് അയ മലയാളി പയ്യന്‍ വരന്‍.അവരുടെ വീട് പാലക്കാട്ടെ ഒരു ഉള്ഗ്രാമത്തിലാണ്; കല്യാണം അവിടത്തെ ഒരു ക്ഷേത്രത്തില്‍ വച്ചായിരുന്നു; അങ്ങനെ ഒരു വഴിപടുല്ലതുകൊണ്ടാണ്. കല്യനതലെന്നു ഞങ്ങള്‍ എല്ലാവരും പാലക്കാടു എത്തി.ചെറുക്കന്റെ ഗ്രാമത്തില്‍ ഒരു വീട് താമസിക്കാന്‍ എര്പാട് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. നാത്തൂന്‍ അവിടെ വന്നു എനിക്ക് കുറെ ചിട്ടകള്‍ ഒക്കെ പറഞ്ഞു തന്നു; കല്യാണം അമ്പലത്തിലാണ്; ദേവി ഉഗ്രരൂപിനി ആണ്; ഒന്നര ഉടുതെ അമ്ബല മുട്ടത്തു ചവിട്ടവൂ എന്നൊക്കെ. ഞാന്‍ പന്റെഎസന് ഉപയോഗിക്കുക; അമ്മ മാത്രം അമ്പലത്തില്‍ പോകുമ്പോള്‍ ഒന്നര ഉടുത്തിരുന്നു. നാത്തൂന്‍ ഒന്നര ഉടുക്കാന്‍ ട്രെയിനിഗ് തന്നു. ഒരു മുറിയില്‍ കയറി കതകു അടച്ചു തട്ടുടുക്കാന്‍ പഠിപ്പിച്ചു; വലിയ പാടായിരുന്നു അത്; ഒന്നരവല്‍ കാലിന്നടിയിലൂടെ പിന്നിലേക്കു വലിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ നാത്തൂന്‍ എന്റെ അത് കണ്ടു; എനിക്ക് വലിയ നാനംയിപ്പോയി- നീ അവിടെ വടിചില്ലേ എന്ന് ചോദിച്ചു; കുറച്ചു പൂട ഉള്ളതാണ് എനിക്ക് ഇഷ്ടം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു; അവര്‍ അതിശയിച്ചു. ഒന്നര അടിയിലുടുപ്പിച്ചു അന്ന് വൈകിട്ട് അമ്പലത്തില്‍ നാത്തൂന്‍ എന്നെ തോഴന്‍ കൊണ്ടുപോയി. ശ്രീകോവിലില്‍ തിരുമേനി തറ്റുടുത്ത്‌ മുഴുത്ത കുണ്ടിയുമായി പൂജിക്കുന്നു; തോഴന്‍ വന്ന ചെറുപ്പക്കാരികള്‍ പോലും തട്ടുടുതിരിക്കുന്നു; പിന്നില്‍ ഒന്നരയുടെ മുഴ കാണാം. അപ്പോള്‍ ചെറുപ്പക്കാരനായ ഒരു പൂജാരി പ്രസാദം തന്നു; ചെറിയ തിരുമേനി ഒരു നേര്ത്ത തോര്താണ് ഉടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്; അടിയില്‍ കോണകം ഉടുത്തത് തെളിഞ്ഞു കനം; മുറുക്കിയുടുത്ത കൊനകത്തിന്റെ അകത്തെ സാധനം എങ്ങനെ ഇരിക്കുമെന്ന് ഞാന്‍ ചിന്ടിച്ചു; കദളിപ്പഴവും നെയ്യും തിന്നു കൊഴുത്ത നല്ല റെമ്പേര്‍ ഉള്ള സാധനം; അതോര്‍ത്തപ്പോള്‍ എന്റെ താര് നനഞ്ഞു; മനസ്സിന്റെ കന്സിന്ട്രറേന്‍ പോയി. ഒന്നും പറയാതെ തിരിച്ചു പൊന്നു; രാത്രി മുഴുവന്‍ ആലോചനയായിരുന്നു; എന്റെ ഭര്‍ത്താവിന്റെ സാധനം എങ്ങനെ ഇരിക്കും; അദ്ദേഹം

എന്തായാലും കോണകം ഉടുക്കാന്‍ വഴിയില്ല; പരിഷ്കാരിയായ പ്രൊഫഷണല്‍ അല്ലെ; അതെല്ലമോര്‍ത്തു മയങ്ങി; കാമവികാരം കൊണ്ടു ഒന്നര മുഴുവന്‍ നനഞിരുന്നു. പിറ്റേന്ന് അത് നനചിട്ടപ്പോള്‍ ഡിസ്ചാര്‍ജ് ഉള്ള ഭാഗം ആകെ മഞ്ഞച്ചിരുന്നത് കണ്ടു നാത്തൂന്‍ അര്ത്ഥം വച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു. കല്യനതലെന്നു എങ്ങനെ വികാരം കയറിയാല്‍ ഇനിയുള്ള ദിവസം എന്ത്യിരിക്കും?ഞാന്‍ ഒന്നും പറയാതെ നാത്തൂന്‍ കനകേ തരു മുറുക്കി ഉടുത്തു. കല്യാണത്തിന് കസവ് കരയുള്ള ഒന്നരയാണ് അടിയില്‍ ഉടുത്തത്; മുതൂര്തമായപ്പോള്‍ തലേന്ന് കണ്ട കൊച്ചു തിരുമേനി അതാ വീണ്ടും കൌപീനവും ധരിച്ചു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; എനിക്കപ്പോള്‍ സാധനതെപ്പട്ടി ഓര്മ വന്നു; അവിടം വല്ലാതെ നനഞ്ഞു; ഒന്നരയും. എല്ലാവരും ഹാപ്പി മൂഡില്‍ ആയിരുന്നപ്പോള്‍ ഞാന്‍ മൂഡ് ഓഫ് ആയിരുന്നു. അന്ന് രാത്രി സാരി അഴിച്ചു മാറ്റിയപ്പോള്‍ എന്റെ കൊഴുത്ത മാറിടം കണ്ടു ഹുസ് മയങ്ങിപ്പോയി; പതുക്കെ അടിപ്പവട അഴിഞ്ഞു; നന്നായി വലിച്ചു മുറുക്കിയുടുത്ത എന്റെ ഒന്നര കണ്ടതോടെ അദ്ധേഹത്തിനു ഭ്രാന്ത് പിടിച്ചു; ഒന്നര വലിച്ചുപരിക്കാനും അഴിക്കാനും നോക്കി...പക്ഷെ അതിന്റെ കുത്ത് നന്നായി മുരുകിയിരുന്നു; അവസാനം താരഴിക്കാന്‍ ഞാനും സഹായിച്ചു....പിന്നെ മറക്കാനാവാത്ത പലതും നടന്നു....എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ തരു കണ്ടാല്‍ അദ്ദേഹം എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു വലിച്ചു മുറിയില്‍ കയറി കതകടക്കും, ഓഫീസില്‍ പോകുമ്പൊള്‍ എന്റെ ഒന്നര പൊതിഞ്ഞു ബാഗില്‍ കരുതും.. അത് കണ്ടാല്‍ പല സ്വീറ്റ് മെമോരിഎസും ഉണ്ടാകുമത്രേ! അങ്ങനെ ഒന്നരകൊണ്ട് ഞാന്‍ ഭര്‍ത്താവിനെ മയക്കി; പാന്റീസ് ഞാന്‍ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു; ഇപ്പോള്‍ വളരെ സെക്സി ആയി ഒന്നര അടിയില്‍ ഉടുക്കുന്നു ഇന്റെരെസ്റെദ് ആയവര്‍ ഒന്നര മെമൊഇര്സ് ഷെയര്‍ ചെയ്‌താല്‍ ഞാന്‍ ഇനിയും എഴുതാം ....ഒന്നരമുണ്ടിന്റെ കഥകള്‍ ഇനിയുമുണ്ട് ഡീര്‍ ഫ്രണ്ട്സ്.

Onnaraayanam - Experiences

Uma went through all mails on Onnara. On reading through some of the experiences, she told me that she too has such experiences. Onnara during the School and College days ... Uma says, there's a lot to say. That's why she chose the following experience (quote) for this post.

ഒന്നര സ്മരണകള്‍ അയവിറക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ഇതാ എന്റെ ഒരു കലാലയ കഥ; വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കു മുമ്പ് നടന്ന സംഭവമാണ്; പഞ്ചാരമണല് വിരിച്ച നാട്ടുപാതയിലൂടെ രാവിലെ പുസ്തകക്കെട്ടും, രിക്കര്ഡും, ചോറ്റുപാത്രത്തില്‍ നിറച്ച ചോറും ആയി ഞങ്ങള്‍ മൂന്നു കൂട്ടുകാരികള്‍ ൪ കിലോമെട്രെ അകലെ ഉള്ള കോളേജിലേക്ക് നടന്നുപോകുകയാണ്. അതുവഴി ബസ്സ് ഇല്ല; അതുകൊണ്ട് കഥയും പറഞ്ഞു നടക്കും; പുറകെ കുറെ പന്ച്ചരക്കുട്ടന്മാര്‍ കമന്റ് അടിച്ച് കൊണ്ടു വരുന്നുണ്ടാവും; പ്ര-ഡിഗ്രി ക്ലാസ്സാണ്. ൨ കിലോമെട്രെ നടന്നപ്പോള്‍ ഏതോ വസ്ത്രം അടിയില്‍ നിന്നു അഴിഞ്ഞു പോയതുപോലെ തോന്നി; അന്ന് ലോങ്ങ് സ്കിര്ടും ജച്കെട്ടുമാണ് വേഷം; അടിയില്‍ ഞങ്ങളില്‍ ൨ പേര്‍ നിക്കര്‍ ഇടും. എന്റെ വീട്ടുകാര്‍ വല്യ ചിട്ട ഉള്ള കുടുംബക്കരയിരുന്നു ; ഞാന്‍ നീളമുള്ള ഒന്നര ച്ചുട്ട്യ്തോര്‍ത്തു കുതിയുടുതാണ് നടക്കുക;അമ്മയുടെ ഒര്ടെരന്; അതുകൊണ്ട് പാന്റീസ് (ഷട്ടി) ഇടാന്‍ പേടിയായിരുന്നു; മുറുക്കി തറ്റുടുത്ത്‌ നടന്നില്ലെന്കില്‍ അമ്മ കൊല്ലാന്‍ വരും; കോളേജില്‍ പോകുമ്പോഴും അതുകൊണ്ട് തോര്‍ത്ത്‌ അടിയില്‍ തരുടുക്കുകയെ മാര്‍ഗമുണ്ടയിരുന്നുല്‍ ഉ.ഞാന്‍ മാത്രമല്ല; മറപ്പുരയില്‍ കുത്തിയിരുന്ന് മുല്ലുംപോള്‍ ഒട്ടേറെ ചേച്ചിമാര്‍ ഒന്നര ഉടുത്തു വന്നിരുന്നത് കണ്ടു.

അറിയാതെ അഴിഞ്ഞു പോയത് കുതിയുടുത്ത തോര്താണ്!ആകെ നാണക്കേടായി; കൂട്ടുകാരികളോട് കാര്യം പറഞ്ഞു; ഞങ്ങള്‍ സൂത്രത്തില്‍ അടുത്ത വീട്ടില്‍ കയറി;അവിടത്തെ ചേച്ചി മരപ്പുര കാട്ടിത്തന്നു- അകത്തുകയറി അഴിഞ്ഞ തോര്‍ത്ത്‌ അടിയില്‍ മുറുക്കി തറ്റുടുത്ത്‌. കുറെ നടക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ഒന്നരയുടെ കുത്ത് അഴിയുമെന്നും ഇടക്ക് അടിക്കുടുത്തത് മുരുക്കനമെന്നും അവിടുത്തെ ചേച്ചി പറഞ്ഞു തന്നു.അവര്‍ ഒരു നേര്ത്ത മല്ലുമുണ്ടാണ് ഉടുത്തിരുന്നത്; അടിയിലുടുത്ത ഒന്നരയുടെ ചുളിവും,കുത്തും, ന്ജോറിയും തെളിഞ്ഞു കാണാമായിരുന്നു; നല്ല ഭാങ്ങിയയിരുന്നു; ഒന്നര ഉടുക്കുന്നത് നല്ലതാണെന്നും ആ ചേച്ചി പറഞ്ഞു.... ഏതയാലും കല്യാണം കഴിഞ്ഞു കുട്ടികലയെന്കിലും ഒന്നര എന്നും ഞാന്‍ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; പിന്നെ വികാരം കയറുമ്പോള്‍ തരഴിച്ചു മുരുക്കിയുടുക്കും; അത് അമ്മ പഠിപ്പിച്ച ഒരു സൂത്രമാണ്; ഒന്നര ഉടുക്കുന്ന ചെചിമാരില്‍ നിന്നും ഇനിയും പല അനുഭവങ്ങളും പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.. എന്ന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ….

Uma says, this experience gives a good lesson to all those who wish to migrate to onnara. She'll tell us how to ensure that the thaar is intact (no fear of opening out at awkward moments and place !).

What is an Onnara ?

Uma read all my postings on Thaar. She suggested that I must first quote the following (What is an Onnara? ) . This is what a girl (Chechi !) wrote :

Now, do you get it ? Why is Onnara called Onnara ?

But I have a doubt. Why is Thaar called so ?

Onnarayo Pantieso ?

Uma was excited, when I told her that there was a serious discussion in a Yahoo Group (Kochupusthakom5) about thaar (Onnara). I briefed her about the interesting and useful comments from the readers. I stressed that many ladies and girls participated in the discussion. Some of the comments (from some of the males) too were very intersting. This also made it very clear that many (most of ?) Keralites are not aware of Onnara (Thaar). That's a pity, I feel. We all should popularise this simple but excellant undie for women. It's our tradition ! It's Keralite !! It's Malayalee !!! We should protect our culture. 

Uma agreed to my views, and told me to write to those people, and the Groups, about my innocent revelations on the subject. She also made a comment that :" We are not against panties. But thaar is different, and better in many ways.  That's why let us all promote Onnara/Thaar".  That's why I am here writing to you all now.

As promised earlier, I shall try to post some pictures. I hope Uma would help me in doing this. Afterall, it would be an effort to educate many "illiterate" Keralites. A humble and simple effort to save our heritage and culture.  Await ...  for a pictorial account of thaar .. Please bear with me for delays, if any, in my attempt.

Onnara/ Thaar - an introduction

Uma made me reveal the following. Infact, the text below is based on an article on thaar ( and edited with certain additions) , which I had sent to my friend long back (sometime during 1995, if I remember right !). I had pictures too that time. But sorry, I dont have them with me now.

Thaar – an introduction.

Thaar or Thar : is the name of a desert, In Rajasthan. The great Thaar desert.

Thar : is also the name of an animal, something like the goat. The Thaars (Varayadukal) at the Munnar hills.

But the Thaar I am now talking to you about, is a simple piece of cotton cloth. About 2 x 1 metre in size. But that is not just a piece of cloth, but is extremely erotic and is the best lingerie. Thaar (Onnara) is the simple and humble under garment worn by some of the Hindu Keralite women. Women of castes like Nair, Namboothiri, and their sub-sects (and Thiyyas of North Malabar too, I am told) wear the Thaar. And no where else in the world. So, Thaar is absolutely a malayalee element.

Thaar is the traditional under-garment of these groups of Keralites. Yeah, Kerala is “God’s own country”, Thaar is “Kerala’s own under-garment”. Kerala is beautiful and erotic ! Thaar too is !

Kerala is highly adaptive to the modern world and its developments. So also, Kerala had adopted all the developments (changes) in the garments and fashion. The youth of Kerala is the most fast changing society. This, however, made dramatic and total changes in the life styles and so the garments. The old is replaced by the western new. One such garment that is now ‘forgotten’ by the youth is the ‘Thaar / Onnara’. However, some of the Malayalis, who are not that fast – who uphold the traditions – have not ignored the Thaar (among a few such elements).

As you would appreciate to know, the modern (allopathic) medicines/system has almost uprooted our ancient and traditional Ayurveda system. However, you know that , Ayurveda is making a comeback. This is true in the case of Keralite garments and styles too, though not fully. Not all is forgotten. Some people are still interested and value the old. Thaar is one among those. Thaar is also referred to as “Onnara”, in some parts of Kerala.

Thaar is worn by women of all ages. Girls at their puberty are introduced to wearing the thaar. Draping the thaar is simple, but looks complex to those not used to. May be I'll show you some photos of wearing the thaar (later !).

The good and bad of Thaar.

Thaar is not just an undergarment. It does a lot of good ! (unlike the panties, which only serves to hold the sanitary pad !). I shall list a few of the good of Thaar.

In addition to its simple (vaginal-)protection, the Thaar is an excellent body shaper. The thaar, worn correctly and regularly, shapes the body. It holds the butts bulbous, pulls the thighs, and keeps the vaginal and anal openings closed. It holds the abdominal and vaginal muscles. Many gaenacologists suggest the thar as an excellent method of preventing the uterus prolapse.

And equally important, the thaar is an erotic element. It adds sex-appeal ! The shape, the corners on the thighs/legs, the bow shaped pull at the back, and the tuck, makes a kick in the male brain. The aroma, is a pleasure, if you enjoy that !!.

The thaar is to be worn tight. If loose, it doesn’t give its purpose, or advantages.

There are arguments against the thaar too. The main points are :

It’s difficult to wear, and requires expertise for the right fit.

There’s a projection (of the tuck) at the rear, and so the looks are not flat and clean.

It is too tight fitting. The tightness may be uncomfortable.

It loosens by the body movements.

Thaar is totally incompatible to the modern dress. (Churidaar, Jeans, Midi, …)

It’s inconvienient during the periods.

It’s not convienient during travel.

And so on ..

There are views against these, and suggests ways to overcome the drawbacks. A more balanced view, taking into consideration of the expertise of those wearing thaar regularly, will be helpful.

It is easy to wear, you need a few days’ practice.

It being cotton, absorbs the sweat and discharges (if any) from the vagina. This keeps the waist and around dry. This keeps away any fungus infections (normally due to the wetness).

The tucking and the projection is not revealed, with mundu, saree, night gown, pyjamas, or churidar. (However, with only ottamundu, its fully revealing…!).

The tightness of the thaar is comfortable, if you are regular. (discomforts, if at all any, are for a couple of days only).

Thaar is an excellent body shaper. (Girls, please listen !). It reduces the waist line, makes the buttocks bulbous.

Its compatible with many dress types, and almost all home-wears, except the jeans, mini, midi, or such short tight dress. It is perfectly Ok with churidars (I know personally, many girls have it, even when going out).

During the periods too, its quite safe (being fully absorbent). Keeping clean is the concern.

Thaar gets loosened with the body movements and work. But one or two clips (safety pins) can simply solve the problem. Alternately, the knot at the ends (tucked in well) can keep thaar in good fit.

No darkening of skin around the waste (being non-nylon, and being not rope-like tight).

During travel too, its quite Ok, if worn with the right dress. Take safety measures for loosening the thaar.

And of all, the rear looks it provide – the bow like tightness/pull and the tuck – are exciting and quite erotic. Your viewers would like and appreciate your classical looks. ( With your panties, the panty lines are clearly visible too, remember.).

Girija Teacher and Onnara

Uma is thrilled now. She finally found someone (besides me ) excited on Thaar ! And with more fans coming out !

Yesterday, I've shown the messages posted in the "Kochupusthakam-5" group, to Uma. I too was excited and there was reason for me to show the messages to Uma. You know it better, as you would have read my previous posts.

Thank you Girija Teacher, for expressing your thrill on Onnara/Thaar. Uma now compels me to post my thrills ... the experiences... ! She says, not only this madam, but many more would like that. Let's contribute and make all happy and thrilled! She promised me to help in this matter. Yes, I shall do my best. But before that, I wish to tell you Girija teacher, that thaar is common (in many of the families I know ) even in these modern days. It's not really obsolete or extinct. It's still in practice.  Remember, we Malayalis love our traditions. Thaar is still live, in many Nair (and may be Nampoothiris and ... ) families in central Travancore area ( That's where I am more familiar with) . 16s and 60s , even today, have their thaar tucked tight. I shall tell you more on these in the coming days.

However, Girija teacher, let's all work for a small cultural change, by promoting thaar/onnara to a greater extent. We should teach the youth about the advantages, beauty, comfort, and excitement of probably "the most simple, convienient, efficient, and erotic under wear".  I request Girija teacher's contributions too in this movement.

Onnara or Thaar

Uma went on firing me... for not posting the revelations. I said sorry many times, but she was adament. She always reminds me that its my commitment; no matter whether someone reads or not. She quotes Lord Krishna, and said "Do your duty Maamma, that too your committed duty. If you don't do that, its a crime ! You must !". I am sure she is right. But my laziness keeps me dragging down. I shall try my best - I shall get self-motivated to do my duty. Please...  bear with me ...

But Uma tries to keep me motivated.. in her own way.. She keeps me awake by her mental and physical responses. Yeah that certainly keeps me awake and warm. Today morning she gave me a kick - "Maamma , you are not as lazy as this in the bed".  I could only smile, as she quickly went in.

Uma was with me yesterday when I was going through a Google search. Searching for "onnara" !

Yesterday, while going through my Groups, I saw a message posted by "girijakkutty70" . That was on 'Onnara stories'. As you know, I am a serious (voracious !) fan of Onnara. Then I hought of searching for Onnara on the web. Yeah, there are a couple of links referring to Onnara. And I could get a short story - one of bad taste.

But let me tell you, no one has given a good coverage of Onnara on the net. I know that Onnara is not a modern subject. Only those who had the "kick of the tuck' would enjoy that. But, dear friends, Onnara is not all that 'old' or obsolete. It continues to be a hot item with many ladies and girls, even today ! I personally know that.

You would have already got the clue. Uma is very particular to have the Onnara at home.

I know many girls (and ofcourse seniors too ) enjoying the warmth of onnara. I know many boys and gentlemen looking for the 'bowed tuck' of onnara; that gives the kick.. one of the most erotic elements of keralites.

But a main point is that Onnara is also called "Thaar". In Travancore region, I think it is more often called "thaar". And in north Kerala (Malabar side !) its Onnara. However, its the same.  The style of wearing is also almost same  ( as I know it. If different in any way, please send me your comments.).

Do you rememeber, I've been referring to the 6x3 cloth ? Please go back to my earlier posts in this blog, and read and see again. Its the 'thaaar thorthu' or 'thaar mundu' or 'onnara mundu'.

As I mentioned above, the web presence of thaar (onnara) is very poor. I request readers, who are knowledgeable in this great garment, to post details of what they know of it. Please also post some pictures, and how to wear.

As Uma puts it, let's all strive hard to popularise thaar/onnara, the world over !!!

Uma is sitting next to me now. She , before commencing today's tuition class, wanted to check with me about today's revelations. She had just read it and says :
"Maamma, how do they understand these numbers ? No one can get an idea about 6'x3' cotton cloth. Please give some more clues."
I said : "Not yet, Let's wait for a couple of days, till someone , if at all, gets the click ! "
"And what about your new number game, 24x6 ? If it were 24x7, they would have got it."
"Wait Uma, don't be in a hurry. 24x7 is universal. I want to make 24x6 also universal. What do you say ?' I said. "Do you have 6x3 right now ? "
She pinched my head, and said "No way ! Can't you see my Churidar, Maamma ?'
