Colourful thaars

Uma had it saffron yesterday. My neighbor lady had it white ( ? off-white !) . For the first fact, I can't show you a proof; just believe me. But for the second, here is the proof.

















Today, early morning, at about 7 am, my neighbor lady came on their roof-top. She had her bath, and in a new settumundu, she was putting her cloths on the cloth lines on the terrace. She had a full set of dress on the cloth line. Oh.. no... except her bra.
Just look at the above picture. You can see the settumundu (pair), a blouse, a paavaada, thaar mundu, and a kerchief. But no bra.
Now, you could easily intrapolate how she was in the last evening and night. She had all the traditional malayali dress, plus the paavaada and minus the bra. What more do I need to get my eighth sense awakened ?
But all the peak of my kicks were from saffron yesterday. Uma had her thaar with the new saffron coloured thaar mundu. I told you last day, she brought two coloured thaar mundus from Vaikom. It was the saffron's turn yesterday. And it was really 'kicking' !

Black and Saffron

Uma goes unconventional quite often. And she shows that.
Today, after lunch, an hour ago, Uma called me. I was quite busy in my office. {Now, I'm in the office ! } She started asking me a few questions. It looked irrelevant and funny to me. However, the last question was "what's the color of my bottom inner one ?". I knew the answer correctly (as i knew it well). I said "White ... but it's ivory to be precise..". She laughed ... and asked me "What if it's not ?". What a question, I exclaimed. "Nothing... but its abnormal...that's all" I replied. "Then its so... it's abnormal..." Uma said.
"How's that... tell me clearly ... quick... I am busy here" I said.
" I have black now " she said.
I was confused. How come she has a black thaar ? I asked her - "may be an old torn cloth ... don't use such.. you throw off that thaar ... wear a right one...". She got my anxiety, and said "No..no.. it's the right one.. only thing is, its black... I have a saffron one too".
She further explained to me that she bought two thaar mundu from the town. There colour mundus are also available. Black and saffron. She bought one each for her and Padma. She tried the first one -black- today morning. And that's why all this calls !
I wish Uma returns immediately. I am eager to see that black... and then that saffron !
