Being away... and yet close by !

Uma is not here now. That's all the reason why I didn't keep you informed with my revelations for the past few days. She'll be back in a day or too, I hope.
On 17th Oct, her father Vasu called me and asked me to send Uma home. I asked him what happened suddenly, for summoning her. He told me that a'boy' is coming home for seeing the 'girl'. The boy , its eems, is interested in her !
I told Uma about the call and the reason for the urgency. She laughed.. and laughed... and told me .. "Maammaa.. your friend is mad... I told him many times that the stage is over... what do you say..".
I could n't answer her. I smiled.. and said "you do whatever way you feel like..I'd love that..".
She didn't respond.. and she was gloomy for the whole day. Next day morning, Uma came to me and said "Maammaa I am going there... I'll not say YES or NO there. But I'll be back soon.. You should call me to come back". I nodded in the affirmative.
Later, I learnt that Remani has been instrumental in taking a decision to go home, for the 'pennukaanal".
Uma left for Vaikom on October 19 Sunday. I put her on the train, and she travelled by Parasuram Express. She reached Ernakulam by 11 AM, and then Vasu picked her up.

Uma calls me everyday, twice atleast. She narrates everything that happens. The latest news today is that the boy's father (and mother is no more) is very much inclined.. but the boy has yet to say a go ahead.


In the meanwhile, yesterday night, she called me. We had a very long chat over the phone. The chat was a bit hot too. It so happened that she referred two sports stars. Both of them are my favourites. That made me look at their pictures. Here are two of them to share with you.
