Uma is keen to track 'thattudutha pennu'. As she says " തറ്റുടുത്ത പെണ്ണിന് പിന്നാലെ". That's why she asked me to look at the blog { Beautiful one from Smt. Devu } yesterday night and also today morning. She is keen to read postings from Smt. Devu.
Uma read Devu's and Jayamma's comments/reply more than once. She is now asking for more information. I said we'll ask Devu madam. Let me list down some of Uma's queries here.
1. How to wear the Malabar type thaar ( which Jayamma too hinted at, and looks a bit complex). Uma is not aware of how to do this. Please help ! may be some snaps ?
2. What are the other types of thaar ? ( Uma knows only madithaar, and its variants }
3. As a school girl, Uma says, Devu madam must have had very active experiences. Uma requests Devu madam to post more of those days.
{ Uma also asked me to make revelations of my school days, and she is very adament that I must write first about Kalyanikutty (my class mate and first sex associate). I shall do that in a few days. }
4. Regarding the thirandu kalyanam and the first thaaruduppickal, we are surprised that it was done on the river bank in the public ! Everyone was looking at ? You had only a thaar, and nothing else ? Really ? Devu madam, did I understand that right ?
And now, a request to Jayamma.
Jayamma, please write more comments. Your sensual comments on the experiences are excellent.

Sorry, I am bit busy with my office work. I shall get back to you when I am free, or at the evening... for more ....

Dear revelator Sir,Malabar type thar is worn by firstly leaving an innerkonthala so as to reach reach just below the lower thighs.Then a thick njori or pad is made by adjusting the konthala and pulling it out.One end of the konthala is then tied at right;then the konthalawal is passed between the legs so that a right kundichal is being formed.Then the njori serves to be a thick pad to absorb menstrual/vaginal discharges.The end is then tucked in at the back tightly-after wearing this type of onnara,ladies appear like temple priests with thar and seem to be too sexy and erotic with projected well-shaped buts!I think this wont be enough for Uma madom to try Malabar thar;for which there needs repeated training by expert elderly ladies to instruct onnara like aunts.Only this type of thar is known to me.As requested,I shall be posting more onnara experiences of school days shortly.The onnarauduppikkal ritual during thirandukalyanam was performed along the riverside too early in the norning;almost one hour before sunrise in the presence of ladies only;no male member is allowed to observe the scene-it is purely a female-dominated ceremony.Yes sir I had only thar and a silver aranjanam and alpakku charadu arond the waist;nothing else;that was the practice those days in Valluvanadu area.Hope this is enough to clear yr doubts.
Revelator and Devu Ma'am, Thanks for the great job you are doing on Onnara or Thar. I really enjoy the posts and Madam Devu's comments. Revelator being a male is doing his best to get people interested in the Thar but it is only you Madam who can explain the intricacies of this garment. About how to wear it and personal experiences and those of your friends.
I am still not clear from the explanation given in Mrs Devu's comment about how the vaal is tied or made. When you say that the konthala is pulled out,Madam, do you mean the left side end (which is below the top right end that is knotted at the right side) which is below the right end ? If it is then pulled out in front will not the part of onnara which is draped over the right leg move up to the thighs? Or is a wider and longer mundu used in the Malabar reethi? Does it mean the konthala is pulled out and the madi thar hangs out in front - will it be long enough to go all the way to the back and then enough left for the knot? I am not clear, can you explain? Is it possible to do a diagram or drawing?
I am not seeing enough posts in Devu Madam's blog. Can you post more and frequently?
Mr Revelator I can not read Malayalam script (but I can understand Malayalam in English script). When you post in Malayalam script can you do a breif English version for people like me ? We will appeciate it vry much. And a humble suggestion which I hope you will not mistake. If you open a separate blog for the other pictures and write ups this blog will become exclusive for Onnara and Konakam. Then more ladies may visit your blog and take to Onnara. Please consider.
I think Devu Madam is right that up to the mid 70's was the great time for Onnara (and no unnecessary and inconvenient Pavada or anything on top, just the Mundu on top, no one found it vulgar or old fashioned. It was natural).
I taught my two college going daughters to wear small mundu as thar (mostly chuttithorth mundu), which will be easy and nobody can notice at all. Even churidar can be weared over thorthmundu thar. While going to college during periods, they use thorthmundu thar as under wear.
