Dry days

Uma’s not here now. She has been summoned by her father, and so she left for Vaikom on Tuesday last. She’s there with her father and Padma, her Kunjamma.

Padma, I am sure, made Vasu to summon Uma. It’s on Padma’s interest, and it looks, Vasu ‘s not in the game.

I told you earlier, Vasu is a pious person (Paavam Vasu ! ). Else he won’t have permitted Uma being left with me. Now that Uma started independence moves, and being tough with her father, Vasu had no choice but to leave her as she demands. But Padma still attempts to keep Vasu in her stride (or better to say, in her command). And that’s why, I said, it’s all Padma’s game.

I just had a chat with Uma over her phone. She told me that she’s not in the vicinity of Padma and is talking to me (from their large campus corner). She complained that both Padma and Vasu are spying her of all her movements and conversations. She said “something’s cooking.. ” and feels lonely there.

But what ? What’s happening there? I don’t dare to interfere now, as it’s Vasu’s internal family matter. At the same time, I am worried as it matters Uma most. I don’t dare to guess their next move right now. May be that I’ll have to wait for Uma’s next call. But, what’s Padma upto ? Let me wait and watch .

I am dry .... the stream of love and affection is dry ... I am awaiting that stream ... I'll find a way to get back my paalaazhy of love and affection ..... Now, I am but to wait ! My only relief is the thaaar thorthu she left with me on tuesday morning !
