Not all wishes

Uma must be smiling , when she learns that my wish didn't happen.  Let her smile! But that's true.
Last Sunday, with all hopes of something happening with Kalyani, I have been waiting all day. But she didn't turn up. The result was that I had a brisk activity at 8PM with 8PM.
Next day, I saw Kalyani with her Annan, entering their home with  heavy baggages (must be returning after a travel). . Yeah, she gave me a flashing smile. Next few days, until Friday (that's yesterday), nothing did happen, resulting in my wasting the whole day time , expecting miracles happening.
But yesterday, it was almost a miracle.  In the morning I went to my workplace and returned by lunch time (planning for a nap ! ).  My packed lunch, with the fish curry, was nice. Then I sat in the front balcony, with a magazine and frequent gazing on the other side. In a few minutes, Kalyani appeared and gave me a smile, which I promptly returned amplified.  So, Annan is not at home.  A few moments passed on, with my inviting looks and gestures. Kalyani must have felt pity on me. She went in, and I was disappointed.
may be about 10 minutes later, Kalyani came out, locked her doors, crossed the road, and walked in to my courtyard. In a fly, I's at the sitout, and opened the grilled door. I invited her in. Kalyani, with a smile, and a small packet in her palm, came in. She was in a mundu, red blouse, and a thorthu as randaamundu.
"saar oonu kazhicho ?" She asked.
"Ooho... Kalyaniyo ?"
"kazhichu... pinne innathe pathram vaangikkaamennu vichaarichu vannathaa " she said.
"pinnenthaa... tharaamallo... " with a pause I asked her "dhruthi illallo ? irikkoo".
"venda... venda... njaan ivide ninnolaam.." she was not in a hurry.
"haa... irikkoo... visheshangal chodikkaatte"  I prompted her to take seat, and she did respond positively.
She sat on the chair, opposite to mine.
