Thaar : smiling and inviting

Uma likes to listen my talk. Talking on anything that comes to my mind, with creative and artistic icing. When someone listens you, you keep talking . That's what happened today morning too.
Today morning, I didn't go for my usual morning walk. I woke up a bit late. Last night, Kuzhaloothukaaran was very active, and he kept me dosing even today morning (Hey..don't call it hangover !). However, I woke up at around 7 AM. After the basic routines, and a cup of tea Remani gave, I decided to take a walk on the terrace (roof).
The morning was quite bright, but a bit chill. Enjoying the weather, I walked for over 40 minutes. During the walk, my eyes were scanning (like a Radar, round and round, and round !) all around my home. The city, as you know, gives not much of variety to see from your roof top. What I could see is all roof terraces. And all terraces, invariably, have cloth lines. Thus, I decided to analyse what's happening in these houses.
The spinster, had already put her maxie, bra, panties, and a kerchief on their clothline. So, she did not have a paavada last night (may be convienient for solo actions). The 'gumastha', who was trying to graduate to panties (from the thaar) came on the terrace after 8 am. She spread a few pieces, mostly her son's dress. The interested elements were a blouse, a bra, and a thaar mundu. Then what could have she been wearing last night ? I could n't convince myself. But, the main point is that she has not really graduated to panties. She still keeps her thaar. Good, keep it up, madam....
Just before my leaving the terrace, I had a scan all around. Everything's fine, good weather, and still. The only thing moving I could see is the thaar mundu. This was slowly fluttering like a flag, slow, silent and smooth. I felt the thaarmundu smiling at me, waving it's hands, and inviting me. I thought of jumping over to the next terrace to embrace the thaar mundu. But I didn't.

I was wondering, when all the nature is still and motionless, why the thaar mundu alone is fluttering and smiling. Must be at me... that's why I said it was inviting !
I went down to the dining, Uma was busy with Remani in the kitchen. Hearing me at the dining, Uma came in, and her raised eye brows asked me 'anything ?'. I showed my hands for her to sit beside me. She sat. I explained her, about the behaviour of the thaar mundu. At the end , I asked her "why is that this thaar mundu is behaving so ?". With a pause, Uma told me "Maamma, you tell me why ?". And I gave her an explanation to this interesting fact.

The thaar mundu has been so stressed - pulled tight- all over the day. After a bath, it's taking a rest. Without the pull and tightness, the thaar mundu feels relaxed. It relaxes it's muscles by stretching out the muscles; that's the slow fluttering. The thaar mundu is so friendly with me, it's inviting me to join him, for the next wearing opportunity.
